Over 500 folks walked through the booths and displays set up at the last event. Our festival caters to the birder - both avid and beginner, so please keep that in mind as you make your decision on what items to bring for sale and display. Small, inexpensive bird-related items seem to do best.

We are moving to a new venue this year which will be very exciting. We will be outdoors at Oats Park in Fallon, and we are in hopes that this change will bring more folks our way to look at all the vendors and free activities we will have in the Park.     Booths usually consist of a variety of artwork, birding essentials (books, optics, information), clothing, and any other "inventive" ways vendors can relate their wares to birds, birding, or nature. The medium displayed has been varied, ranging from oils, charcoal, and photos, to scratchboard and sculpture. Adherence to Nevada sales tax laws and appropriate licenses are the sole responsibility of the vendor.

    Over 50% of the participants traveled over 70 miles to attend the Festival.  Advertising for the festival is accomplished with ads in several national birding magazines, and heavily concentrated in Reno, Carson City, Fallon, and surrounding area opportunities (newspapers and other publications).  All our information is published here on internet, so the potential for business and sales is what you make of it!!

    Spring Wings is a non-profit organization formed to promote conservation awareness and education with the primary focus on the birds of Nevada, specifically the Lahontan Valley.  Sponsors include:  US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Bureau of Reclamation, Lahontan Audubon Society, Eagle Optics, Nevada State Commission on Tourism, Nevada Division of Wildlife, and a variety of interested local agencies, businesses, and organizations.

   The only requirement is that what is being sold at the festival is somehow "nature-related".   So come on, you can view and print a booth registration form to mail or fax and join us for a fun, exciting and informative weekend.
